The mini-Zone Monitor has been designed to interface to a small conventional zone, allowing up to 6 conventional smoke and heat detectors to be interfaced with ASX Range productson.

The units have fully monitored zones for open and short circuit, achieved by a special End Of Line (EOL) unit (part number TE-RH-E) which is supplied with each unit. When a fire is generated on the zone the unit generates an ESP interrupt which allows the fire alarm control panel to respond quickly to the fire and for the remote LED output on the CHQ-MZ to operate. The auxilliary output on the CHQ-Z will only operate if it is supported by the conytrol panel. On both units a red status LED flashes when the unit is polled by the fire alarm panel.

The CHQ-Z requires an external 24V supply and the CHQ-MZ is loop powered. Both units need to be addressed for the ESP system which is activeved via a simple DIL switch, allowing the unit to be addressed between 1 and 127. Connection to loop and field is via simple screw terminals for easy installation.

The Duel Zone Monitor has been designed to interface to two independent zones of conventional detectors, allowing conventional smoke and heat detectors to be interfaced with ASX Range products on ESP systems. The unit provides an auxilliary output for local alarm indication.

The Duel Switch Monitor has been designed to interface to a variety of inputs such as door contacts, sprinkler flow/door switches and plant equipment faults. The unit is particularly suited to applications where fast responce is required to the input change as with remote fire inputs.

Configuration by simple DIL switch for monitoring either input as normally open or normally closed volt free contacts. A second DIL switch allows the unit to be addressed between 1 and 127 for the ESP system. When either input becomes active the unit generates an ESP interrupt which allows the fire alarm control panel to respond quickly to the input change. A red status LED flashes when the unit is polled by the fire alarm panel or can be continuously illuminated when either input is active. Connection to loop and field wiring is via simple screw terminals for easy installation.

The Single Input/Output Controller has been designed primary to provide switching of mains. This capability allows plant to be shut down directly from the loop, without the need for additional power supplies. The general purpose monitored input can be used for local fire and fault monitoring.

The unit has a single input that has open and short circuit monitoring which can be enabled or disabled by a DIL switch. The unit reads the input once per second, if the input is activated for 3 seconds the interrupt conditions is transmitted to the fire alarm control panel. Connection to the loop and field wiring is via simple screw terminals and flying leads for easy installation. A DIL switch allows the unit to be addressed between 1 and 127 for the ESP system, and the status LED flashes when the unit is polled by the fire panel. The ouput are provided in 'C' form giving the greatest flexibility for the user. The CHQ-R relays are independent and can be driven separately under the fire alarm panel control.

The Duel Circuit Sounder Controller has been designed to provide two sounder outputs with full fault monitoring. The monitored input can be used for local power supply fault monitoring or as a general purpose input. The input and both sounder output only need the allocation of the ESP loop address.

Open and short circuit monitoring functions for both sounder outputs can be enabled or disabled via a simple DIL switch. The sounder outputs are independently fused and can be separately driven either continuosly or pulsed

under full synchronisation of the fire alarm panel with other sounders on the same loop. The external 24V supply is monitored and if the voltage drops below the threshold then a fault signal is sent back to the fire alarm panel. A second DIL switch allows the unit to be addressed between 1 and 127 for ESP system, and a green status LED flashes when the unit is polled by the fire alarm panel. A single input is provided with open and short circuit monitoring which can be enabled or disabled by the DIL switch. The unit reads the input once per second for ESP interrupt conditions to which the fire alarm control panel then responds quickly if any input change occurs. Connection to loop and field wiring is via simple screw terminals for easy installation.
