The AlarmSense Concept 
AlarmSense employs patented technology which allows detectors, manual call points input or output modules and sounders to be connected to the same pair of wires. This makes installation quicker, less expensive and more flexible.
The Products
The AlarmSense range comprises an optical smoke detector, an integrating optical smoke detector (suitable for use areas where transient high levels of smoke may be expected), two heat detectors, a manual call point, an alarm relay modules (for connecting devices such as beacons) and a sounder which can be used either as a sounder base for a detector or as a stand-alone sounder.
The range also features RemovAlert which alerts the AlarmSense control panel if a detector is removed from its base and SynchroPulse technology which enables pulsing sounders to be synchronised when they are in alarm.
AlarmSense systems conform to BS 5839 : Pt1:1998 and the draft revision.
AlarmSense products can also be bought in combinations that consist of an AlarmSense sounder, AlarmSense base and AlarmSense detector in the following sets. Optical smoke combination, integrating optical smoke comnination, standard (A1R) heat combination, high temperature (CS) heat combination.
Control Panels
The patented two-wire technology requires that Alarm Sense be connected to control panels specifically designed for AlarmSense systems.
